Engineering & Design: The Gemini™ Architecture
At VPRO, we don’t just modify existing tools; we engineer new standards. The Gemini™ Dual Wand was developed through two years of iterative field testing to solve the airflow and stability limitations found in traditional dual-head designs.
1. Center-Vacuum Architecture
Traditional dual-extraction tools often utilize a side-exit vacuum, creating an asymmetrical pull that can cause the tool to “chatter” or lift. This frequently requires technicians to add heavy weights to keep the head planted.
- Balanced Physics: The Gemini™ vacuum tube exits from the exact center of the head.
- Self-Stabilizing Design: This symmetry creates a natural downward force that keeps the tool perfectly flat on the carpet.
- Optimal 28 lbs Weight: Our 28 lbs build is engineered to stay planted for a perfect seal and maximum lift without the physical strain of unnecessary, bolted-on head weights.
2. Precision Internal Flow Chamber
Many center-suction tools suffer from internal turbulence because their vacuum chambers aren’t optimized for high-velocity air movement.
- Equalized Suction: The Gemini™ features two independent internal vacuum chambers that converge into a central exit.
- No “Dead Zones”: Our CNC-machined internal geometry ensures suction is identical at every inch of the cleaning path.
- Superior Moisture Recovery: By maintaining higher airflow velocity, the Gemini™ recovers more water per stroke than wide, single-slot wands—especially on hose runs exceeding 100+ ft.
3. One-Piece CNC-Machined Construction
While “Assembled” or “Frankenstein” systems stitch together existing wands with brackets and screws, the Gemini™ is a single, unified core.
- Solid 6061 Aluminum: The dual head is precision-cut from a single solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum.
- Zero-Leak Integrity: There are no internal seams, joints, or screws to vibrate loose or cause vacuum leaks.
- Uninterrupted Flow: Smooth, bored-out internal chambers eliminate the air resistance found in traditional “coupled-wand” designs.
